Arriving late means that the other guests who are seated at the same table will not be able to be served, as cast members work off of a strict schedule to maintain an orderly dinner time onboard for everyone.

A partner facility to the Oceaneer Club, the Oceaneer Lab offers lots of hand-on activities and experiences for kids ages 3-10. Those under the age of 18 are not permitted in this adults-only escape, not because anything elicit happens there but rather because every age group needs a bit of time to themselves. You’ll find a pool and whirlpool tubs here, along with plenty of lounge chairs and easy access to the adult beverage of your choice. There’s no additional charge to ride the AquaDunk, but you will have to wait in line (sorry, no FastPass or Lightning Lane here). Lines tend to be longest on Sea Days and shorter when the ship is in port. Riding earlier or later can also help avoid crowds – just don’t forget to check the operating hours each day in the Navigator app.

When it comes to spending a day in the Bahamian sun, Castaway Cay makes for a great Disney-filled day in paradise. Kids get their own version of the Personal Navigator and can join their groups at any time during the day, including dinner with fellow kids/clubbers, while parents dine alone. Quiet Cove, all the way forward by the ship's spa, is a peaceful adults-only area with a pool and two whirlpools and an upper deck with additional lounge space (seating surrounding the pool is limited).
There are only three other, for-a-fee dining options, which is a little disappointing, since most cruise ships do have quite a few other, extra specialty restaurants in addition to their main dining rooms and buffet. The Soul Cat Lounge (near Rapunzel's Royal Table restaurant/aft on deck 3) is designed to resemble Half Note Lounge from the movie (Joe Gardner's favorite music spot). Table-side are served local brews, signature cocktails (made with New York spirits), a selection of mocktails, brand coffees, sodas, zeppoles (Italian fried doughnuts). Specialty dining options are offered at "Palo" (an adults-only fine restaurant (costs extra, located on Deck 10; reservations are required, it's a relatively small venue, so early booking is advisable). Italian (Med) cuisine, including superb fish and seafood dishes, the brunch here offers Champagne and cold buffet with seafood and meats, great salads and desserts, and hot made-to-order selections (eggs-meat-fish).
